Privacy

This page describes how Life in Focus HQ handles household and connected-calendar information.

Household data

Calendar, family, meal, shopping, settings, and subscription information is used to provide the household calendar service. Private stored fields and supported provider credentials are protected server-side and are not published through public health or branding endpoints.

Google Calendar

If a household member with change access connects Google Calendar, Life in Focus HQ requests read-only Calendar access to display selected Google calendars inside the household calendar. Google events remain owned by Google and are not converted into native Life in Focus HQ activities, chores, or meals. The connection can be removed from Settings โ†’ External Calendars.

Apple / iCloud Calendar

If a household member with change access adds an iCloud published-calendar subscription URL, Life in Focus HQ uses that read-only address to display events. The saved subscription address is treated as private connection data and can be removed from Settings โ†’ External Calendars.

Payments

When enabled, subscription checkout is hosted by the selected payment provider. Life in Focus HQ does not store card details or PayPal passwords.

Control

Household members with change access can disconnect their own external-calendar connections; household owners manage shared household settings and family access through the application controls. Removing an external connection removes its overlay from Life in Focus HQ without deleting the provider-owned calendar.
